Stone Castles

Neolithic to prolific.
Ancient to modern.

What is the constant?
Edifices erected to commemorate.

Building and tearing down.
Just to start again.

From where is the push
To further oneself?

Can we assess
What is really at hand?

Life passes swiftly
Like grains of sand.

Where is our nobility?
The essence of our humanity?

As the abyss
Of ignorance has no end.

So too understanding
Beyond mind’s reckoning.

Sun and earth
Each with a powerful inner core.

Withstanding all the tumultuous
Activities of the exterior.

We are not our perceptions.
Dive then, a little deeper.

Construction of the human being
Is not arbitrary by any means.

This yearning to know the Immortal has been meticulously crafted.

Notwithstanding the exterior
Which will be reclaimed.

Seen more clearly,
It’s just the waves playing with sand.

Willingly then shed the garments to know First hand,

The inner workings
Deep within this grain of sand.

How exquisite!
This palace of palaces.

Decorated with infinite kindness
Inside the heart’s magnificent oasis.
