Understand Death; Value Life. Misunderstand Death; Are You Really Alive?

By contemplating the impermanence of everything in the world, we are forced
to recognize that every time we do something could be the last time we do it,
and this recognition can invest the things we do with a significance and intensity
that would otherwise be absent. We will no longer sleepwalk through our life.

Savage beast of death
Lies helpless at the threshold.
This sacred breath
Keeping universal laws at bay.

Unconscious ones
Unable to decipher the keystone.
Rare are those delving
Within the parameters of breathing;

Realizing all this spinning
Is necessary to arrive
At the stillness of meaning.

If all the elements
Shone their colors at once,
You would be overwhelmed.

Shake clean.
Fight with all your might,
To keep the thirst pristine.

Nectar of the gods
Given with complete trust.
Drink your fill!
For this life is very real.

When you’ve touched upon
The changeless,
In the midst of the hurricane,
Discover you will,

The place where death itself,
Must refrain.

No need to fear the nearing.
Reaching divinity within
This mortal frame,
Is no easy game.

Beauty, knowledge, wisdom;
Gains made in those realms
Are yours forever!

Awaiting your claim,
Within your inner domain.
Invest in the treasure
No power can measure.

Breathe in life!
Be worthy of your nature!
